Is there any risk to video cards when connecting TVs to iMacs via HDMI cables?
Just want to know the risks before I do any damage.

no risk, as long as you've got proper adaptors.

So I assume that if we buy our adapter from an Apple store, then it is the proper one? I have a Moshi adapter.
